My Story

My name is Sandra Vera Gallardo, I’m 44 years old. I did many different diets before, but none of them made me lose enough weight. One day, I was watching “Buenos Días a Todos”, in that T.V show I met Dr. Daniela Concha Poduje, who learnt this diet from the well-known Dr. Armando Varas Espejo. She talked about a miraculous diet based on proteins. After trying hard to get an appointment with her, I got it, and I went to her office. That day I met the Hyperproteic Diet. The results could be seen immediately. The first week I lose 6.6 lb, and since that moment my life completely changed. I talked to my doctor, and I told her that I would like people to know my personal experience through internet and she told me that there was no problem. So that’s what I’m doing now, I want to help you and show you that it’s possible to reach our goal, lose weight, and that the change is not only in your body but also in your heart, soul and behavior, you’ll feel happier than before!.The best thing of this is that you will never… ever… be hungry because the most important thing in this diet is to keep eating every hour and a half.

The Diet


FEEDING GUIDE

This is based on eating natural meals, ideally prepared by ourselves. Generally speaking, you CAN’T eat flour, cereal, sugar, fat or alcohol.

PROTEINS: these are the most important elements on this diet. It has to be eaten every hour and a half or two hours; since you wake up until you go to sleep. Every time you have to eat a meal based on a minimum of 6 or 8 tablespoon-size portions of proteins without a maximum.

1.-  MEAT: It has to be lean beef. It can’t be cooked with oil. The most important fact is that it has to be fat 
free. You CAN’T eat pork, veal or any kind of sausage. Rabbit and frog can be eaten.



2.-  CHICKEN AND TURKEY, it can be cooked in anyway but without fat and skin. Roasted or boiled turkey ham.

3.- FISHES: All of them are allowed (but no herring or salmon), it can be fresh or frozen ( not canned). It can be cooked in anyway but never fried.

4.-SEAFOOD: All of them but hedgehog. It can be fresh or frozen but not canned. Isinglass can be used to make jelly.Algas are allowed too.

5.-  EGGWHITES: scrambled, hard, boiled, omelet. There’s no limit.

6.-  LACTOSE-FREE SKIM MILK: (Only 750cc per day) you can’t only drink milk in a meal, this is the only protein that has to be eaten in association to another protein (such as eggwhites, meat or any other protein). It has to be liquid and white, without flavour.

7.- SKIM YOGURT: Just one per day. It has to be without flavour and sugar-free.


8.- EQUINE OR BEEF JERKY

These are not proteins but they can also be eaten.

FRUITS: fresh or frozen.  3 servings per day.You CAN’T eat grapes, peaches, pawpaws, figs, quinces, apricots, bananas, pineapple, and melon.  They ALWAYS have to be eaten with a protein. If you eat ONLY citrus fruits in a day, you can eat 5 servings. Watermelon is unlimited.

VEGETABLES: they ALWAYS have to be eaten with another protein. Stem or green leafy vegetables (e.g chicory, asparagus stalks, brussels sprouts, celery, lettuce, cabbage, endive, broccoli, chard, spinach, artichokes, watercress, arugula. Any kind of mushroom. Onion, scallion, parsley, chives, peppers. Tomatoes are unlimited.

Prohibited Food:
Avocado, corn, beans, green beans, lima beans, peas, potatoes, carrots, cauliflower,Italian squash, cucumber, eggplant, beets, squash.
Season with fresh lemon juice, salt, pepper and any other natural seasoning. oregano, curry, sesame, basil, garlic and so on. DO NOT USE OILNever use vinegar or balsamic vinegar.
Do not eat peanuts, raisins, almonds, walnuts, bread, biscuits, noodles, rice, cereals.

FOR DRINKING: water, mineral water, natural fruit juices (remember the amount of fruits per day), coffee, (only two cups of caffeinated or grain coffee, but decaf coffee is unlimited), tea, herbal tea, mate, without limit. DO NOT drink soda, light juice or any alcoholic beverages.

FOR SWEETENING: DO NOT use sugar. The idea is to use Stevia.



TIPS

- If there’s a protein that you don’t like, don’t eat it, it won’t be an obstacle for losing weight.


- Drink at least 2 liters of water per day.

- The ham can be of turkey or chicken, but be careful that it has to be roast or boiled, and that don’t have to much sodium

- The hour and a half starts counting when you start eating (e.g … If you eat at 3 pm then you have to eat at 4.30 pm then,  at 6 pm, and so on)

- The more proteins you eat, the more weight you lose.

- It’s completely normal that you frequently go to the bathroom.

- It’s normal to have stomachache at the beginning, because we are not accustomed to eat so frequently.

- You have to eat a multivitamin every day.
